Wertz Lake on the Bromelsick property has an abundance of Blue Gill and Bass. The 5 pound bass in the photo below was caught and released back into the lake on August 1, 2014. He is still in the lake ready for the next scout to try his luck. Please refer to the rules section of this web site for our policy on fishing. We encourage every boy to try his luck fishing in the pond. Many a scout has caught his first fish out of Wertz lake.
A fishing license is required by the State of Kansas for anyone 16-74 years of age.
