The Bromelsick Trust provides money the Committee uses along with other donated money to award campership funds for Boy Scouts in Douglas County to go to summer camp. The award of Campership money is without regard to any income factor. The Pelathe District has a history of high attendance at Summer camp for its Scouters. Additional Scholarship money is available through the Heart of America Council and local Scout Troops. Every Scout needs to go to Summer Camp. If you have a problem with funding a Scout’s summer camp and could not find other resources contact us. We will not let a Scout miss summer camp because of a lack of financial resources. Boy Scout Units must apply for these funds on behalf of their scouts. Camperships for BSA Summer Camps is $50 per scout for 2023! We are no longer limiting camperships to our local Council Camps.
